Tiny Dribblers is excited to announce that we will be holding our 1st Basketball Summer Camp for children between the ages of 3-8 at the Gloucester Township Recreation Center. During our camp, we will be focusing on individual skill enhancement and learning key fundamentals to build a strong foundation for the sport. 

 

Our players will learn how to dribble, pass and shoot, while also learning the importance of teamwork and communication skills. During the camp, special guests, such as coaches and other professionals will stop in to share their experience with basketball and the opportunities that come with the sport. They will also talk about career avenues that are available outside of basketball. 

 

We are offering three one week camps. One week will be a full day, Monday, June 22nd through Thursday, June 25th,  from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, and the other two weeks will take place from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on July 13th to July 16th and July 20th to July 23rd.  We will be scheduled immediately following the Gloucester Township Recreation Center Summer Camp that runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.  Before and after care will be provided at an additional fee.  

 

* Full day players will be required to bring snacks and lunch.  They will be supplied with a Tiny Dribblers t-shirt, backpack and water bottle.  Half day players will be required to bring a snack and will be supplied with a Tiny Dribblers t-shirt and water bottle.  We ask that parents do not pack any foods that may contain peanuts. 

 

Additionally, The Tiny Dribblers Basketball Program believes that the education of our players is extremely important for their overall development. During our full day camp, we will devote time to have certified teachers go over a lesson plan each day.  Oftentimes, children are assigned a summer assignment from their primary school.  This will be a great time to send your player's assignment to camp with them for our teachers to assist with the completion of the assignment while also helping your player develop in a classroom setting.
